Port Blair, Dec. 1: As part of the Navy Day celebrations in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands, ships/vessels of Indian Navy will be illuminated on 04 Dec 2023 from 1725h to 2100h at anchorage off the Marina flag post sea front. At sunset, the ships would fire colourful flares and switch on the outline illumination lights. This would be followed by a performance by Navy Band at Marina Park.

Port Blair, Dec. 1: One seat in Physics under Category V for admission to 2 years B.Ed. Course for the academic session 2023-24 in Tagore Government College of Education, Port Blair is lying vacant. The counselling for the admission to these vacant seats will be held on 4th December, 2023 at 9.30 am. Interested candidates who are eligible for this vacant seat have been requested to attend the counselling on the date and time mentioned. If no candidates are available, the seat will be given to the next candidate as per the existing norms.

Port Blair, Dec. 1: As part of ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ initiative and as per directives of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India, the Foundation Day of Nagaland was celebrated enthusiastically on 01.12.2023 at Raj Niwas. Persons hailing from Nagaland participated in the function. During the event, an interaction and experience sharing session was also conducted. A short documentary on Nagaland was screened. The function ended with high tea, group photograph and presentation of mementos to invitees.
